Biography

Anthropologist, associate researcher at the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Solidarités, Sociétés, Territoires (LISST) in Toulouse.

I worked for over 20 years in West Africa (Mali and Burkina Faso) on various projects and, from 2014 to 2017, more specifically on access to healthcare (mainly HIV/AIDS) for deaf people (a project funded by Sidaction, jointly with IRD and Handicap International).

I then worked for the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (FMSH) on the Light4Deaf project, on the daily lives and life paths of people living with Usher syndrome (2019-2020), then on setting up an emergency hotline (dial 114) for people with aphasia (Telecom Paris/FNAF).

In 2021 I joined the Groupe Addiction Sourd (GAS), for which I conduct interviews with deaf addicts in France.
