Virtual reality exposure therapies (VRETs) are effective for treating anxiety disorders and phobias. Gradual and progressive exposure in VR (supervised by a psychologist) helps to desensitise patients and significantly reduce their anxiety. However, the lack of trained nursing staff in our region is excluding many patients from this amusing and effective therapy. C2Care now enables patients in need to benefit from VRETs from the comfort of their own homes.
