More than 1,200 senior citizens were supported in 2022, and the campaign has had a major impact, with a 40% reduction in nutritional risk at the end of the programme.

i-Virtual

Presented by: i-Virtual

i-Virtual improves access to health and well-being through remote monitoring and clinical examination solutions. DERI

Presented by: DERITECH

The Déri start-up has its origins in the Cherchons Pour Voir research laboratory, which specialises in improving the quality of life and independence of blind and partially-sighted people. In collaboration with the CNRS, Paul-Sabatier University and the Institut des Jeunes Aveugles de Toulouse, the start-up has developed the DERi digital suite. This solution is a tool for inclusion for the visually impaired, but also for people who are more familiar with other languages or who have learning difficulties. The device consists of a tactile surface on which can be superimposed, one at a time, various documents with raised parts, and software for producing and reading these interactive documents. Interaction can involve questions and answers, quizzes or the selection of a reading language. This unique innovation is helping to restore accessibility in all its forms: to fundamental rights (accessibility of administrative documents), to knowledge, to culture and to leisure activities. It is also a powerful lever for improving the accessibility of public service establishments, thanks to its use as an interactive and audio map, which can even help with orientation and navigation inside a building.

Digital Therapeutics (DTx)

finaliste Trophée de la e-santé 2023

C2CARE

Presented by: C2CARE

Virtual reality exposure therapies (VRETs) are effective for treating anxiety disorders and phobias. Gradual and progressive exposure in VR (supervised by a psychologist) helps to desensitise patients and significantly reduce their anxiety. However, the lack of trained nursing staff in our region is excluding many patients from this amusing and effective therapy. C2Care now enables patients in need to benefit from VRETs from the comfort of their own homes. A C2Care psychologist is on hand to provide support, using cognitive-behavioural therapies combined with VR sessions.

COGNITO

Presented by: LIGHTNICS

Cognito offers a range of amusing cognitive stimulation activities for elderly patients suffering from loss of vocabulary or memory following a stroke or the onset of Alzheimer’s disease. The system is fully automatic, and uses artificial intelligence to adapt to the patient’s cognitive level. By allowing seniors to practice between visits from healthcare professionals, it helps to stabilise their faculties and independence. After each session, a report is sent to family members, friends and professionals.
