The Agence Régionale de Santé Occitanie, with the support of the Region, launched a call for projects at the end of 2019 entitled “Digital services to make care accessible for all people with disabilities and/or for elderly people who are becoming more dependent on others”.
The objective is to support innovative collaborative projects, in line with public health priorities, bringing together regional health professionals, users and digital entrepreneurs.
The SWALL EHPAD project team, one of the winners, will present their work and results to develop and test in real life a system using a revolutionary medical device worn round the neck, to enable to remotely assess swallowing processes in the elderly.
