Joan Guanyabens has been in leadership roles for over 30 years and her career has always been focused on the application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to transform healthcare organizations through innovation and improve healthcare delivery. He has participated in this mission from different perspectives, working in private and public institutions as an entrepreneur, manager of different organizations within the Catalan Department of Health and consultant.

Since graduating in medicine from the University of Barcelona in 1985 and obtaining a Master’s degree in Hospital Management from the ESADE Business School in 1988, he has taken several international and specialized postgraduate courses and training programs related to health sciences, innovation and leadership.
