Vice President of the Castres-Mazamet Agglomeration Community

Catherine DURAND is President of the Castres-Mazamet Technopole Association. She is also vice-President of the Castres-Mazamet Conurbation with responsibility for regional marketing, as well as being a local councillor in Castres.

Trained as a chemist and a specialist in regulatory issues in the field of health and therapeutic chemistry, Catherine Durand is committed to the region she loves and where she settled almost 12 years ago. She helps the Technopole in its ongoing actions to develop efficient services for companies, particularly in the field of eHealth. Capitalising on what already exists, building, developing, anticipating, federating players around a common project, communicating with a global strategic action plan, ensuring the right level of innovation with qualified projects, working across the board, maintaining transparency – these are the President’s watchwords.
