Chief Executive Officer Groupe Pierre Fabre
Eric Ducournau has been Chief Executive Officer of the Pierre Fabre Group since 1 July 2018.
He joined the company in 2000 as Head of the Chairman’s Cabinet and from 2005 onwards he was General Secretary and then Deputy General Manager in charge of Legal and Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Pharmacovigilance and Quality.
In 2004, he participated in the creation of the G5 Santé group of leading French companies in health and the life sciences, of which Pierre Fabre Group is one of the founding members, and was a member of the Board of Directors and the Bureau of the LEEM (French pharmaceutical federation) until 2012.
In October 2012, he was appointed by Pierre Fabre as head of the Dermo-Cosmetics division, where he developed the digitalisation and internationalisation of the patient-consumer experience.
Following his appointment as CEO of the Pierre Fabre Group in July 2018, Eric Ducournau set out a major transformation plan which includes refocusing the medical business on oncology, dermatology and rare diseases.
Eric Ducournau is 55 years old, a graduate of Sciences Po Bordeaux and holds a Master’s degree in law
