Alice worked as a biotechnology consultant with Alcimed, before joining INPES (the national institute for health education and illness prevention), where she coordinated the implementation of national prevention and health programmes, together with the corresponding communication. As a member of the crisis communication network set up by the Government Information Service and of the Global Health Security Initiative (co-representative for France), she also set up a unit on “major health emergencies and threats” within the Institute. Alice has “national defence” clearance. She subsequently set up and managed the communication department of the greater Paris (Il-de-France) regional health agency before moving to the United Arab Emirates, where she stayed for five years, and then to Luxembourg. She worked as a teacher of integrated sciences and then mathematics in two international French high schools through the AEFE (agency for French Teaching Abroad) and then as a volunteer, before being selected for the post of Officer with the European Commission (CHAFEA). Here, she developed the strategy for promoting projects funded as part of the third Health Programme (CHAFEA).
Alice also writes heroic fantasy novels for teenagers. She was a jury member and lecturer at the HETIC IT school and a volunteer mentor in 2019 Techfugees
Alice holds a Magister degree in Biology and Biochemistry from ENS-Ulm, a DEA diploma of further studies in Molecular Biology of the Cell from Paris XI and the Pasteur Institute, as well as a Master’s diploma with a speciality in Marketing Intelligence from HEC.
